Inexpensive alternative to fireplace gl?

I'd really like to replace our ceramic gas logs with a gl fire pit look in my living room......my question is this: is there an inexpensive alternative to what seems to be a $500 proposition right now? Will any kind of gl work? Will ground up granite work? Any ideas are appreciated.

Never. And quite honestly in this day & time, no one will be able to bear a reign that long. Todays typical reign in length should be that of the Undertakers last reign, just with more substance. Cena has enough reigns and wins as it is. Its time for some newer guys to get that chance.
