Carbon monoxide poisioning?

my family just bought a new propane gas grill. we just finished embling it, and we attactched the propane gas into the grill .( we embled inside our house) we tested on the grill (flames came out) and left it on for about 10-15 seconds. now there is a gy smell in our living room, will this cause carbon m. poisoning?
