Mabinogi Question: Are lumps of iron ore small or large?

Recently in Mabinogi, I bought 10 iron ore fragments from a street shop in Dunbarton. I was trying to finish the mining for iron ore quest but didn't really want to do the mining. Are the lumps of iron ore that the quest describes small or large. And if they are large, how do i refine my fragments into one large iron ore.
